Ladies of Wales
The Ladies of Wales have been created as a result of Brenda's fascination with all aspects of costume and her research into the dress of everyday folk in the Wales of times gone by.
Although there does not seem to have been a definitive 'Welsh' costume many aspects of what has come to be regarded as such are evident in the outfits portrayed here.
Each doll is 14" high and they all feature individual head sculptures, reproduced in porcelain in Brenda's studio in the heart of mid-Wales.
