"As an artist living and working in Snowdonia I am continually inspired by my surroundings. The fascination of mountains; their intense, captivating, beauty and enticing dangers combining with a passion, a movement, and a certain compelling approach to climbing and a love of high adventure. Such essentials have influenced my life and oil painting and informed a deepening respect for nature. I live and work in a studio/gallery, above the small town of Bethesda, overlooking these same magnificent mountains.
‘Impressions of Snowdonia’ is a series of oil paintings that have become increasingly well known and appreciated as a collection of hand made cards. Through these cards knowledge of my painting has grown and this is expected to increase with the publication of my first children’s novel; The Urchins of Dump City".
