Soaps and Makeup Removers
It is particularily difficult to make soaps and shampoos truly pure, and it can be very hard to find a good alternative to mainstream soaps. Our natural Castile soap is completely pure - of course, and it moisturises as it cleans.
Some people have great results with using our soaps as shampoos, and they report much happier scalps and hair. However, if your hair is very fine, we do not recommend using the Castile soap for this purpose (unless it is also very short).
The soap can be used in showers, as a facial wash, hand wash, foot wash/bath (put some soap in the footbath and let your feet soak), as a shampoo and even for washing clothes. (Great all in one soap for holiday use!)
We add essential oils to our soaps mostly for the fragrance. The tea tree is one exception - we recommend the tea tree soap especially for hand washing (as it has anti-bacterial properties), and also for scalp problems as tea tree can really help with this.
