SKINCARE FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN
For babies and children's very sensitive skin, we recommend you use only the mildest of products. Our Bonbon Baby Oil contains Organic Cold Pressed Sunflower Oil which is rich in vitamins and minerals, and will moisturise without damaging the skin's acid mantle. This can be used as a general moisturiser and for baby massage. The essential oil content is very low, so as not to disrupt breastfeeding with a strong scent.
Our Mandarin Castile Soap is also very mild, and can be used as a shampoo. The natural oils and glycerin remain in this soap as moisturising agents, so you can wash several times a day without the skin feeling dry.
We do recommend that you only use water to clean a newborn baby's hair and skin. Wait a minimum of one month (but preferably much longer) before you introduce any products, and be very careful with the ingredients in these products. It is perfectly fine (and recommended by many skin specialist) to not use anything but water for washing the skin and hair for babies and children (up to puberty).
