Having spent the majority of her life enjoying the beautiful scenery of the South Wales, Suzie was particularly the enchanted by the delicate yet beautiful shapes and textures of ammonites which are abundant along the coastline.

Mari Eluned works with a range of traditional Welsh materials to produce jewellery with the spirit of Wales at its heart. Using Sterling Silver, slate, pebbles and wood Mari is able to capture and reveal some of the extraordinary patterns and colours found throughout the Welsh landscape.

Her pieces tell a story of an encounter between the contemporary and organic, an encounter that realised the symbiosis of two paradigms of design to create unique jewellery for every occasion. It’s Mari Eluned’s approach to design and the quality of her craftsmanship that achieve the distinctiveness of each piece. Currently studying on one of Britain’s leading Jewellery courses Mari is still developing towards her true potential.
